Next Play Jobs is proud to be partnering with a global PE firm with portfolio companies that dominate the retail and online market for professional and collegiate apparel, jerseys, hats, collectibles and memorabilia. We will be working with them to identify strong leaders who can make an immediate impact to their retail operations across several portfolio companies.

We are working with them to identify a Relationship Manager who will drive sports merchandise sales at college and university bookstore across the country.

Duties and Requirements

• Incredible communication skills - written, verbal, presentations
• Ability to develop and grow long lasting relationships
• Expand existing sales, renew contracts, and partner sell into new accounts
• Always have a pulse on merchandise inventory
• Travel to school bookstores across the country to meet with university and store leadership
• Natural tendency to overcommunicate, follow up, and have a sense of urgency when contacted both internally and externally
• Team player - being a former varsity athlete in a team sport is a huge plus
• Expert in the Microsoft Office Suite
