Following a recent acquisition, the company is executing a large-scale enterprise integration initiative focused on aligning operational processes, technology infrastructure, organizational structures, and customer-facing brand experiences across the combined organization.
Position Summary
The Program / Project Manager will support enterprise integration efforts associated with the acquisition of a large retail organization. Each Program Manager will lead a defined integration workstream and coordinate activities across multiple internal departments to ensure the successful execution of integration milestones.
This role requires strong program management discipline, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to operate effectively within a fast-moving transformation environment. The position reports directly to the Vice President of Program Management and will play a critical role in ensuring the integration of operational systems, teams, and processes across more than 100 retail locations nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead a dedicated integration workstream such as Retail Operations, IT Systems & Infrastructure, Real Estate & Facilities, Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, or Brand / Marketing
· Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and workstream deliverables
· Coordinate cross-functional teams responsible for executing integration initiatives
· Track deliverables, risks, dependencies, and progress across stakeholders
· Facilitate recurring working sessions and progress meetings with internal departments
· Ensure alignment between legacy systems and newly acquired operations
· Maintain integration dashboards, milestone tracking, and status reporting
· Escalate risks, blockers, or delays to the Vice President of Program Management
· Support preparation of executive-level integration updates
· Assist with integration efforts across more than 100 retail locations
· Coordinate site-level transitions including systems rollout, operational alignment, and brand implementation
Required Qualifications
· 5–8+ years of program or project management experience
· Experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives within enterprise organizations
· Strong organizational, planning, and stakeholder management capabilities
· Experience working with structured program management methodologies and tools
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced integration environment
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in retail operations, multi-location environments, or real estate-related programs
· Experience supporting post-acquisition or post-merger integrations
· PMP certification or equivalent project management credential
