A growing U.S.-based manufacturer and supplier of elevator components is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and expand our national sales efforts.

Our company designs and supplies elevator components used in new installation, modernization, and maintenance projects. We are known for responsive service, high-quality products, and strong relationships with elevator contractors across the industry. This role is ideal for someone who understands the elevator business, enjoys building relationships with contractors and distributors, and has the leadership ability to guide a small but growing sales team.



Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor sales team, including one experienced industry salesperson and one developing sales professional.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share with elevator contractors and distributors.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key customers throughout the elevator industry.
  • Identify new sales opportunities in modernization, repair, and new construction markets.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and accountability to the sales team.
  • Work closely with leadership, engineering, and operations to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Support proposal development, pricing strategy, and closing of major opportunities.
  • Track and report sales performance and pipeline activity.


Requirements:

  • Elevator industry experience REQUIRED.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of sales experience.
  • Experience working with elevator suppliers, manufacturers, or contractors.
  • Strong understanding of the elevator sales process and industry relationships.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to lead and develop others.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work remotely and travel occasionally.
