The Modernization Manager is a full-time, onsite role based in the Washington, DC area. The Modernization Manager oversees modernization projects to upgrade equipment and systems, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget as well as managing the team including project managers and superintendents.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage modernization projects
  • Lead modernization teams, assign tasks, and monitor progress
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to meet project objectives
  • Mentor and train junior staff involved in modernization projects


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical field, or related discipline preferred OR relevant work experience
  • 3-5 Years in Elevator trade industry
  • 3-5 years of experience in modernization or technical project management
  • Strong leadership, planning, and project management skills


Location and Travel

  • Some travel is required throughout Maryland, Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia areas
