Project Superintendent – Concrete Group
Our client is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead field operations, safety, and productivity for their Concrete Group in El Paso, Tx. This role offers a clear progression path based on project scale and experience:

Superintendent I: Focuses on projects up to $20M (typically 3–5 years of experience).

Superintendent II: Manages medium-scale projects from $20M to $50M (typically 5–10 years of experience).
Key Responsibilities

Field Leadership: Direct day-to-day field operations, manage subcontractors, and drive production goals for self-performed concrete work.

Scheduling & Planning: Develop and maintain the CPM Project Schedule utilizing LEAN construction processes and Weekly Work Plans.

Project Controls: Partner with PMs on the Project Management Plan (PMP), review shop drawings/submittals, manage costs, and aggressively mitigate potential claims.

Safety & Quality: Implement and enforce rigorous project-specific Safety and Quality Management plans in a safety-sensitive environment.

Closeout: Lead the timely completion of punch lists, system start-ups, and commissioning.
Minimum Requirements
- A 4-year engineering/construction degree or an equivalent combination of technical training and field experience.
- Thorough knowledge of heavy civil/concrete construction technology, equipment, methods, and cost control.
- Strong communication, organizational, and supervisory skills.
