Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: Knoxville, TN (Travel preferred, not required)
About the Role
A leading Mid-Atlantic general contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager based in Knoxville, TN. Our client has delivered over 6,800 multifamily units—including high-rise, podium, wrap, and garden-style developments—alongside major commercial mixed-use projects across the Mid-Atlantic and the Southeast U.S. They offer top-tier compensation, a collaborative work culture, and long-term career stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall project execution from pre-construction through completion, ensuring safety, quality, budget, and schedule targets are met.
- Manage subcontractor selection, bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and change orders.
- Serve as the main point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and municipal authorities.
- Monitor site progress alongside field Superintendents to proactively resolve issues and drive timelines.
Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of project management experience working directly for a General Contractor (GC).

Project History: Strong background in mixed-use, multifamily (high-rise, podium, wrap, or garden-style), or large commercial builds is preferred.

Skills: Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project).

Travel: Preference for candidates open to regional travel for out-of-city builds (not strictly required).
