What You’ll Do: Mining, Vertical Walls & Columns, Heavy Foundations
In this role, you take charge of daily field operations on mining and heavy industrial concrete projects, keeping the work moving with a strong, safety-first mindset. You lead craft teams and subcontractors through demanding scopes such as vertical walls, columns, equipment foundations, retaining structures, and high-load placements, making sure every activity aligns with the schedule, quality expectations, production goals, and site-specific safety requirements.
You stay ahead of the work by reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, lift drawings, embeds, anchor bolt plans, rebar details, and layout controls, ensuring complex concrete scopes are built right the first time. You manage manpower, equipment, materials, formwork, access, and pour sequencing to maintain steady workflow while driving LEAN planning, daily risk mitigation, and consistent execution of the project plan.
With tight schedules, accurate reporting, and clear communication, you coordinate around plant operations, equipment installation, inspections, concrete deliveries, and changing field conditions. On self-perform work, you build and develop strong craft teams that deliver safe, reliable, high-quality results in challenging mining and industrial environments.
