Full-Time | Front Desk Receptionist | Fayetteville, NC


Join a respected, physician-led independent Family Medicine practice serving the Fayetteville community. We are seeking a full-time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to support our clinical team and help deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a welcoming outpatient environment.


Our practice values continuity, compassion, and strong provider–patient relationships. As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive experience and ensuring smooth daily operations.


Position Highlights

  • - Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
  • - When last patient leaves usually 6 PM but also needs to be flexible 8AM - 5PM or 7AM - 4PM

Key Responsibilities

  • - Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in/check-out
  • - Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage provider calendars
  • - Verify insurance information and collect co-pays
  • - Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic information
  • - Assist with prior authorizations, referrals, and medical forms
  • - Support clinical staff with administrative tasks as needed
  • - Ensure compliance with privacy, safety, and practice protocols
  • - Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced outpatient setting

Qualifications

  • - High school diploma or equivalent required
  • - Prior medical office or customer service experience preferred
  • - Familiarity with EHR systems (experience in healthcare setting a plus)
  • - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • - Ability to multitask and stay organized
  • - Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered demeanor

  • - Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
  • - Accuracy in data entry and documentation
  • - Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and staff
  • - Comfort managing a steady flow of patients and tasks
  • - Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
