About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join our independent, democratic group in Raleigh, North Carolina. This opportunity comes with a clear partnership track following the retirement of a senior partner with over 30 years in practice.

Group Highlights:

• Stable, independent group with 29 emergency physicians and 10 APPs
• Democratic practice structure with physician governance
• Staffing two UNC Health Rex facilities:
• UNC Rex Raleigh – 450+ beds, ~70,000 ED visits annually
• UNC Rex Holly Springs – 75+ beds, ~35,000 ED visits annually
• Full specialty backup, including robust hospitalist support, stroke neurology, psychiatry, and 24-hour radiology
• 24/7 cath lab access and interventional stroke team available

Qualifications

• MD or DO with ABEM/AOBEM Board Certification/Eligibility
• Emergency Medicine residency trained (ACGME/AOA)
• Eligible for North Carolina medical license
• Strong interest in long-term partnership and democratic practice
