SleepMed Solutions is seeking a friendly, organized, and service‑oriented Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our dedicated sleep‑medicine team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being the welcoming face of the practice and thrives in a calm, patient‑centered clinical environment.


Our practice is committed to improving patients’ health and quality of life through comprehensive sleep‑disorder evaluation and treatment. As the first point of contact, you play a vital role in creating a positive experience and supporting smooth daily operations.


Position Overview

The Medical Front Desk Receptionist supports the practice by managing patient check‑in and check‑out, scheduling appointments, answering phones, verifying insurance, and maintaining accurate patient records. You will work closely with administrative and clinical staff and will be cross‑trained for check‑out responsibilities.


Responsibilities

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8AM – 5PM (occasional Friday)

• Provide a warm, professional greeting to patients upon arrival

• Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently

• Answer multi‑line phones and schedule appointments

• Verify insurance coverage and collect copayments

• Enter and update patient demographics and insurance information in the EHR

• Scan and organize patient records within the electronic medical record system

• Coordinate with providers and staff to maintain smooth office flow

• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines

• Keep the front desk and lobby area clean, organized, and welcoming


Qualifications

• High School Diploma required

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a medical or office setting preferred

• Prior front desk or receptionist experience strongly preferred

• Experience with Veradigm is a plus—or willingness to learn quickly

• Familiarity with EHR systems and basic computer skills

• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment

• Professional, patient‑focused, and welcoming demeanor
