About the Opportunity

Commonwealth Emergency Physicians (CEP) is a physician-owned emergency medicine group serving Northern Virginia. We are seeking a Fellowship trained Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician to join our team. Based at Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, Virginia, this position offers a stable, supportive environment in a private, democratic group known for clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and flexible scheduling.

Position Highlights:

• Highly Competitive Compensation with Exceptional Benefits

• 50-60 patients per day (24-hour average). Less than 5% transfer rate 
• Employed with Benefits, 401k, and Paid Malpractice
• 13 shifts a month (6a-4p, 2p—midnight, 9p-7a)

Practice Environment

CEP provides emergency services at three closely located facilities, offering physicians variety and consistency within the same cohesive team:

• Inova Loudoun Hospital (Flagship Site):
• 50,000 Adult ED & ~20,000 Annual Pediatric ED visits.
• 26-bed adult ED and 11-bed pediatric ED
• Level III Trauma Center and Leapfrog Hospital recognition
• Part of the nationally recognized Inova Health System
• Epic EMR

Qualifications

• MD/DO with PEM Board Certification/Eligibility
• Eligible for Virginia medical license
