About the Opportunity



A fast-growing company in the modular building and storage container rental/sales industry is seeking a Selling Branch Manager to lead operations and drive revenue growth. This organization has established a strong foothold serving construction firms, schools, municipalities, and commercial customers across Arizona—and is now looking for a dynamic leader to accelerate the next phase of expansion.

This role is ideal for a hands-on sales and operations professional who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment. You’ll be out in the field building relationships, closing deals, and scaling recurring rental revenue, while also managing a small but growing branch team.



Key Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect, close, and expand business within the construction, commercial, and industrial sectors.
  • Build long-term customer relationships that drive recurring rental revenue.
  • Represent the company at industry trade associations, networking events, and forums.
  • Educate customers on rental solutions and expand agreements with short- and long-term clients.
  • Oversee branch operations including logistics, customer service, and vendor coordination.
  • Lead, coach, and grow a small team (from 3 today to 5–7 in the next two years).
  • Monitor competitive pricing and adjust strategies to optimize margins.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and entrepreneurial energy.


Ideal Candidate Profile

Must-Have Experience:

  • 3–7 years of progressive sales success, ideally in rental equipment, modular buildings, or construction-related services.
  • Proven ability to grow new business and recurring rental revenue.
  • Strong relationship-building skills in construction, industrial, or commercial markets.
  • Prior leadership exposure—either as a team lead or “player-coach” managing both sales and operations.
  • Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset: able to balance strategic growth with daily branch execution.


Preferred Industry Background:

  • Equipment rentals (United Rentals, Sunbelt, Herc, Sunstate, etc.)
  • Modular building or container providers
  • Site services (scaffolding, generators, porta-potties, etc.)
  • Asset-based rental businesses (fleet, vehicles, etc.)


Key Traits:

  • Sales-driven, relationship-focused, and high energy
  • Operationally capable—comfortable running logistics and branch functions
  • Independent decision-maker and problem-solver
  • Growth-minded, motivated by profit-sharing and equity opportunities
  • Entrepreneurial spirit—excited to build something, not just maintain it
