The Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to serve as a trusted advisor to our clients. This senior client-facing role is ideal for someone who thrives in managing complex accounts, driving strategic discussions, and delivering consultative insurance solutions.

As an Account Executive, you’ll take the lead in guiding clients through risk management strategies, contract reviews, and coverage placements. You’ll manage relationships directly, coordinate with producers, and oversee the delivery of proposals, stewardship reports, and market analysis. From negotiating with carriers to presenting loss data and providing actionable insights, you’ll be instrumental in helping clients make informed decisions.

This role provides autonomy and visibility — you’ll manage your own book of business, contribute to team growth, and serve as a high-level point of contact for both clients and carriers.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead marketing efforts, including carrier negotiations, coverage placement, and proposal development.
  • Manage day-to-day client relationships with responsiveness, insight, and professionalism.
  • Provide risk management guidance, coverage analysis, claims support, and contract review.
  • Coordinate with producers to ensure alignment on retention, growth, and client service goals.
  • Produce and present insurance proposals, benchmarking, stewardship reports, and loss analysis.
  • Represent the firm in client meetings and presentations — independently or alongside a producer.
  • Evaluate submissions and proposals, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Anticipate client needs and deliver proactive solutions.


What You Bring

  • 7–10 years of commercial property & casualty insurance experience in brokerage or agency roles.
  • Proven expertise in marketing, consulting, and risk management.
  • Active Property & Casualty license (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; professional designations (CPCU, CIC, ARM) a strong plus.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Comfort leading client discussions and working independently on a book of business.
  • Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
