About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Insurance Advisor to join our agency team. In this role, you will be responsible for building trusted relationships with clients, providing tailored insurance solutions, and guiding them through risk management strategies. You will combine sales expertise with a consultative approach to help individuals and businesses protect what matters most.


Key Responsibilities

  • Client Consultation & Risk Assessment
  • Meet with clients to understand their insurance needs and assess potential risks.
  • Provide personalized recommendations for coverage across personal, commercial, and specialty lines of insurance.
  • Educate clients on policy details, coverage options, and risk management strategies.
  • Sales & Business Development
  • Proactively generate new business through networking, referrals, and community engagement.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and ensure growth through upselling, cross-selling, and renewals.
  • Achieve individual and team sales goals, contributing to overall agency performance.
  • Account Management
  • Build long-term client relationships with a focus on trust, transparency, and ongoing support.
  • Monitor existing policies and advise clients on changes or updates as their needs evolve.
  • Assist with claims support and advocate for clients throughout the process.
  • Risk Management Advisory
  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to minimize exposure for clients.
  • Provide guidance on loss prevention and industry best practices.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and emerging risks.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, insurance sales, financial advising, or risk management (insurance agency or brokerage setting preferred but not required).
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products preferred. (life, health, auto, home, commercial, etc.). Also open to candidates with B2B sales experience outside of the insurance industry.
  • Ability to analyze client needs and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Active insurance license(s) or willingness to obtain (state-specific requirements).
