Location: Remote (NJ, NY, PA only- regular meetings)

Salary: $130-150k DOE

Clutch is looking for an experienced VP, Project Management for a pharmaceutical agency client of ours.


Responsibilities:

  • Establishing, refining best-in-class Project Management methodologies, processes, and tools tailored to the pharmaceutical advertising lifecycle.
  • Partnering with executive leadership to identify and implement opportunities for improved workflow efficiency, quality control, and increased profitability across the agency.
  • Owning the selection, implementation, and management of project management software, resource management tools, and workflow systems.
  • Developing risk mitigation strategies to anticipate and address project roadblocks, scope creep, budget overruns, and compliance issues unique to the pharma industry.
  • Leading, mentoring the Project Management department, fostering a culture of accountability, proactive problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
  • Defining the optimal organizational structure for the PM team, managing recruitment, training, performance reviews, and career pathing for all PM personnel.
  • Overseeing agency-wide resource planning to ensure appropriate staffing levels, skills, and availability are matched to current and projected client needs and new business opportunities.
  • Collaborating with Finance and Client Services to establish project budgets and provide accurate financial forecasting and variance reporting.
  • Standardizing and overseeing the development of accurate Statements of Work that clearly define deliverables, timelines, assumptions, and necessary resources.
  • Serving as the agency expert on the MLR process, ensuring all PM staff are trained and processes are optimized for compliance and speed.
  • Ensuring meticulous documentation is maintained for all deliverables, facilitating smooth internal and client audits.

Requirements:

  • 8-10+ years of Project Management experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership/Director level role within a pharmaceutical advertising or marketing agency required.
  • Deep, working knowledge of the pharmaceutical (HCP/DTC) marketing landscape, including the processes for the development and submission of regulated promotional materials.
  • Not just a leader, but a collaborator and partner!
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence C-suite leadership and interact effectively with cross-functional teams and demanding clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or similar.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification (highly preferred but not required)
