Role: Director, Influencer Marketing

Hourly Rate: $60-70/hour

Clutch is looking for an experienced Director, Influencer Marketing for a client of ours.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Campaign Leadership: Direct the end-to-end lifecycle of annual and seasonal influencer initiatives. You will oversee strategy, influencer identification, brand safety vetting, and the production of high-impact campaign briefs.
- Thought Leadership & Innovation: Act as a senior advisor to clients, authoring data-driven points of view and pioneering innovative solutions that differentiate the agency’s practice in the social media landscape.
- Team Development & Mentorship: Lead and empower a high-performing influencer team. You will be responsible for workload delegation, professional development, and establishing a culture of excellence through rigorous review processes and goal setting.
- Performance Analytics: Own the reporting function, translating complex performance data into actionable insights and comprehensive post-campaign analyses that inform future client investment.
- Growth & New Business: Drive the strategic direction for agency pitches by unearthing competitive trends and developing tactical influencer plans that secure new client accounts.
- Operational Excellence: Optimize the operational framework for digital projects, ensuring efficient workflows, timelines, and integration points with cross-functional agency teams.
- Partnership & Contract Management: Oversee the negotiation of influencer agreements and scopes of work, ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation while maintaining strong relationships with talent managers and platforms.
Qualifications:

Industry Expertise: 10+ years of dedicated influencer marketing experience with a deep understanding of the current creator economy.
- Platform Mastery: A proven track record of managing large-scale successful campaigns across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Meta, and emerging platforms.
- Leadership Background: Experience managing a team and serving as a senior point of contact for high-level client relationships.
- Analytical Rigor: Strong proficiency in digital reporting, data interpretation, and using analytics tools to measure brand lift and ROI.
- Technical Literacy: Expert-level skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and visual presentation formats like Google Slides.
- Education: BA/BS degree required, preferably in Communications, Advertising, or Marketing.
- Relationship Network: Established strategic connections with digital influencers and talent management agencies.
