Role: Senior Designer/Art Director 

Location: Jamison, PA (Preference for local with 1 day onsite; open to remote rockstars)

Salary: $100,000 – $120,000

Clutch is looking for a hands-on, portfolio-driven Senior Art Director for a client of ours. This is an exciting opportunity for a versatile visual storyteller who thrives in a fast-paced environment supporting diverse venture capital-backed brands. Because the clients can span everything from B2B, corporate, and national banking to CPG, food & beverage, and consumer products, you will constantly pivot across fresh brand identities and industries.

We are looking for a true maker—someone who has actively executed the work themselves from concept to completion rather than just managing massive, multi-layered agency teams where individual contributions can sometimes get lost.

Responsibilities:

• Hands-On Visual Design & Execution: Conceptualize and design breakthrough visual assets across multiple channels, including compelling video work, clean website layouts, digital ads, and comprehensive brand identities.
• Storytelling Through Design: Translate complex brand narratives into engaging, beautiful, and strategic visual executions that resonate with target audiences across diverse verticals (CPG, B2B, corporate, and more).
• Client Presentations: Present creative concepts, design rationale, and finished work with confidence, polish, and professionalism during client-facing meetings.
• Variety & Adaptability: Seamlessly transition across different brand voices, industries, and project scopes typical of a dynamic venture capital portfolio ecosystem.
• Portfolio Transparency: Clearly articulate and showcase your personal contributions to past projects, demonstrating precisely how you executed the work from the ground up.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of design and art direction experience, ideally within fast-paced agency or consulting environments.
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma experience.
• A standout portfolio that proves you did the heavy lifting—featuring exceptional execution in video direction, web design, digital advertising, and foundational brand layouts.
• Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to walk viewers through your creative process, rationale, and individual contributions.
• Polished communication and presentation skills, with a professional demeanor when interacting directly with stakeholders and clients.
• Ability to thrive in a rapid-fire environment handling varied accounts (B2B, consumer, CPG, food & bev, etc.) with minimal ramp-up time.
