Role: Senior Account Executive

Location: Morristown, NJ (Must be located in the Tri-State Area (NYC, NJ, Local PA))

Hybrid/On-site/Remote: Hybrid (1-2x a week)

Salary: $80-100k

Clutch is looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive for a client of ours. This role is perfect for a client-focused professional ready to be the primary point of contact for key accounts, driving brand strategies and ensuring seamless project delivery. You'll be instrumental in understanding client needs, developing tailored solutions, and contributing strategically to both client success and internal team efficiency.


Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the primary client contact, fostering strong relationships and understanding their unique needs.
  • Lead the development and execution of brand strategies, ensuring solutions are tailored and effectively delivered.
  • Manage 1-2 brands contributing to significant revenue, ensuring client satisfaction and project success.
  • Oversee project lifecycle from kickoff to completion, including developing briefs, routing client comments, and delegating tasks to junior team members.
  • Ensure timely and accurate Veeva submissions, managing job codes, attending review meetings, and incorporating feedback.
  • Monitor project budgets closely, identifying and flagging potential scope creep to management.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for organic growth within existing accounts and communicate them to the Manager/Strategy team.
  • Take detailed meeting notes, draft client contracts, reports, and maintain accurate client status reports.
  • Recognize and flag internal challenges, seeking support from senior colleagues or managers as needed.
  • Support and potentially join pitch presentations.


Qualifications:


  • 2-5 years of experience in account management or a related client-facing role, with a strong preference for access and reimbursement experience.
  • A four-year college degree or equivalent practical work experience is required.
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships and internal project teams simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Veeva submissions processes is highly preferred.
  • A strategic and tactical mindset, capable of contributing effectively to brand and project success.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
