Role: Senior Copywriter/Copy Supervisor (Temp-to-Perm)

Clutch is looking for an experienced Senior Copywriter/Copy Supervisor for a client of ours, a leading agency committed to raising the bar in pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing. This is a temp-to-perm role for a highly motivated and skilled professional ready to take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and write compelling, medically accurate, and regulatory-compliant copy for a diverse range of pharmaceutical and healthcare promotional materials, including digital (websites, emails, banners), print (sales aids, brochures), video scripts, and unbranded disease-state content.
- Translate complex scientific and medical information into clear, persuasive, and engaging language for both healthcare professional (HCP) and consumer (DTC/DTCP) audiences.
- Maintain brand voice and consistency across all deliverables while upholding the highest standards of scientific and clinical accuracy.
- Lead and mentor junior copywriting staff, providing constructive feedback and guiding their professional development (at the Copy Supervisor level).
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, confidently defending creative concepts and strategic rationale behind the copy.
- Collaborate closely with Art Directors, Account Services, Medical/Regulatory, and Strategy teams to ensure copy meets all strategic and creative objectives.
- Oversee and manage projects from concept through final production, ensuring deadlines are met and all copy is routed for regulatory/medical/legal (MLR) review.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Copywriter in a professional agency setting, with significant experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare advertising required.
- Proven ability to write and edit compelling copy across multiple channels (print and digital).
- Exceptional understanding of the pharmaceutical marketing landscape, including regulatory guidelines (FDA, MLR process, etc.) and medical terminology.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating successful work in healthcare/pharma, showcasing strategic thinking and diverse writing styles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills—must be comfortable presenting to clients and internal teams.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Prior experience supervising or formally mentoring junior writers is a strong plus for the Copy Supervisor designation.
