Role: Account Director - Pharma

Location: Remote (MUST be near NYC area for meetings)

Salary: $140k-$160k DOE

Clutch is looking for an experienced Account Director with pharmaceutical advertising or marketing agency experience for a client of ours.

Responsibilities:

• Leader for client account relationships, managing a portfolio, including high science pharmaceuticals.
• Oversee project budget and hiring, identifying and troubleshooting any resource challenges.
• Provide strategic recommendations and solutions to meet business objectives.
• Oversee managers and teams, ensuring quality delivery of assets and deliverables.
• Subject-matter expert on MLR processes, ensuring accurate submissions and compliance.
• Drive organic growth by identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and supporting new business proposals.
• Contribute to the improvement of agency best practices and operational processes.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in account management within an agency setting.
• Minimum of 4-5 years in a pharmaceutical agency setting.
• MUST have experience with high science oncology therapeutics (HCP/DTC)
• Ability to manage $2M+ client accounts.
• Expertise in budgeting, staffing, risk assessment.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience guiding cross-functional teams and being the subject matter expert for the clients.
• Experience within small and large agencies preferred.
• Experience or familiarity with pharmaceutical MLR processes.
