Clutch is looking for an experienced VP, Creative for a client of ours. This is a high-impact role for a creative visionary who thrives at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and engineering. We are looking for a leader who loves the work as much as the win—someone equally at home concepting a big brand moment and rolling up their sleeves to ensure flawless execution for experiential and live event clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Creative Leadership & Vision: Set the creative standard and push the work to its highest potential. As an individual contributor with strong authority, you will drive the creative direction for high-impact brand experiences.
  • Client-Facing Partnership: Partner closely with Account Directors and Executive Producers to align creative vision with brand strategy. Present and sell big ideas to senior-level clients with confidence and warmth.
  • Innovation & Tech Integration: Actively experiment with and implement emerging technologies—such as generative AI, real-time production, and digital studio innovations—to elevate live and digital experiences.
  • Business Development: Contribute to blue-sky briefs and new business pitches, shaping compelling narratives that help the agency win.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly across strategy, account, production, and technology teams to push ideas from concept through final execution.
  • Quality Control: Maintain an incredibly high bar for craft, ensuring the details that separate "good" from "great" are never overlooked.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8–12 years of experience in creative roles within experiential, events, or advertising, including several years at the Creative Director level.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating deep conceptual thinking, experiential design, and integrated storytelling.
  • Strategic Presentation: Proven ability to present to, and collaborate with, senior clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Technical Curiosity: A genuine interest in the application of emerging technologies within the live and digital space.
  • Leadership Style: A collaborative, low-ego working style with a focus on making both the work and the team better.
  • Adaptability: Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and moving parts.
