Clutch is looking for an experienced Director, Global Platforms and Events for a client of ours. This strategic leader will define and execute the company’s vision for global brand presence and industry engagement. Positioned at the intersection of energy, digital infrastructure, and frontier technology, you will determine how and where the company shows up in the world—from major institutional forums to flagship owned events—to build lasting credibility with investors, policymakers, and partners.
Responsibilities:
- Platform Strategy: Develop a comprehensive strategy for participation in global conferences, high-level forums, and institutional convenings, ensuring maximum influence and brand alignment.
- Strategic Selection: Exercise expert judgment in identifying the specific industry dialogues and platforms that matter most to the company’s long-term growth and leadership position.
- Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with global organizations that convene leaders across finance, technology, and energy; identify partnership opportunities that elevate the brand.
- Flagship Owned Events: Lead the end-to-end conception and execution of high-impact owned events, such as Investor Day and curated executive gatherings.
- Brand Activations: Design and manage impactful brand experiences, speaking opportunities, and sponsorships tied to major industry moments.
- Executive Alignment: Partner with Strategic Communications and executive leadership to ensure consistent messaging and prepare senior teams for high-visibility engagements.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Manage a complex web of internal teams (Investor Relations, Marketing, Finance) and external partners (production vendors, event organizers) to ensure flawless execution.
- Program Management: Oversee multiple workstreams and timelines simultaneously while maintaining the highest standards of professional interaction and environmental "finish."
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years in high-level events, strategic partnerships, investor relations, or communications within the technology, finance, or infrastructure sectors.
- Institutional Expertise: Proven track record of designing and delivering experiences for sophisticated audiences, including institutional investors and policymakers.
- Strategic Judgment: Strong ability to discern which global platforms and industry conversations provide the most value for building corporate credibility.
- Relationship Building: Extensive experience navigating and building networks within major conference organizations and global institutional platforms.
- Project Leadership: Superior project management instincts with the ability to lead complex production workstreams and manage external vendors under tight deadlines.
- Executive Presence: Comfortable working directly with senior executives to shape their participation in global forums and high-profile industry moments.
- Adaptability: Thrives in fast-paced, high-ownership environments where priorities may evolve quickly.
- Attention to Detail: A relentless commitment to quality and accuracy in high-profile, high-stakes environments.
