Clutch is looking for an experienced Pharmaceutical Agency Art Director/Supervisor for a client of ours.
Responsibilities:
- Creative Leadership: Lead the development of compelling visual communications for pharmaceutical brands, ensuring all creative output aligns with brand strategy and business objectives.
- Concept & Execution: Originate fresh, innovative concepts and transform them into effective designs across multiple platforms, including presentations, digital tactics, and print materials.
- Hands-on Design: Act as a hands-on art director, utilizing a strong understanding of layout, typography, and color to produce high-quality design work.
- Mentorship & Oversight: Oversee and provide guidance to a team of art directors and designers, ensuring creative standards are met and providing constructive feedback.
- Client & Team Collaboration: Work closely with copywriters, account services, and other cross-functional teams to develop cohesive messaging and present creative solutions to clients.
- Regulatory Compliance: Apply a working knowledge of FDA regulations and pharmaceutical promotion requirements to ensure all work is compliant.
- Project Management: Manage projects from initial briefing through final execution, ensuring high-quality outcomes while meeting deadlines and staying on budget.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Art Supervisor or Senior Art Director within a pharmaceutical or healthcare advertising agency.
- A compelling portfolio that showcases strong conceptual thinking and a variety of visual communication solutions across digital, video, and print.
- Advanced knowledge of web usability, user experience best practices, and digital design principles.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
- Must be proficient in Figma
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative rationale to clients and internal teams.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- A deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations.
