Clutch is looking for an experienced Manager, Strategic Communications for a client of ours. This individual will be instrumental in architecting and advancing the corporate narrative for a leader in the digital infrastructure and energy space. You will be responsible for converting intricate topics—ranging from AI and financial markets to energy infrastructure—into persuasive stories that engage media, investors, and industry partners.



Responsibilities:

  • Narrative Development: Craft and polish the corporate story across earned, owned, and internal channels to ensure a cohesive brand voice.
  • Executive Communications: Partner with senior leadership to build high-impact thought leadership pieces that influence conversations in the tech and energy sectors.
  • Content Creation: Write and edit professional communications materials, including press releases, media statements, and internal announcements.
  • Media Relations: Cultivate and sustain relationships with top-tier business, technology, and energy reporters; manage inbound inquiries with sharp editorial judgment.
  • Complexity Simplified: Translate technical market data and complex industry shifts into clear, accessible language for stakeholders and customers.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate messaging across various departments to maintain organizational consistency and clarity.
  • Market Monitoring: Track industry trends and media coverage to identify strategic opportunities for the company to contribute to the global conversation.
  • Agency Management: Collaborate with internal teams and external PR agencies to drive strategic initiatives forward.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5–7 years of professional experience in communications, journalism, or media relations.
  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience or a deep understanding of digital infrastructure, energy markets, artificial intelligence, or financial sectors.
  • Editorial Skills: Exceptional writing and editing capabilities with the ability to distill "wonky" technical topics into compelling prose.
  • Media Savvy: Proven track record of working with high-level business and trade publications; a strong grasp of newsroom dynamics is essential.
  • Executive Presence: Experience advising and developing content for C-suite executives and senior leaders.
  • Education/Background: A background in journalism, particularly at a business or industry-specific publication, is highly valued.
  • Professionalism: High level of discretion, strategic thinking, and sound judgment in fast-paced environments.
