Location: Remote (EST preferred)

Rate: $55-75/hr DOE (w2)

Clutch is looking for an Account Director with non-profit client experience in an agency setting for a client of ours.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary strategic contact for a portfolio of non-profit clients, understanding their mission, goals, and challenges to develop long-term growth strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional account and project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and exceed client expectations across all digital channels (display, paid social, etc.)
  • Manage account profitability, including forecasting, budgeting, billing, and identifying organic growth opportunities within the existing client base.
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for complex digital campaigns, including donor acquisition, fundraising initiatives, advocacy, and awareness campaigns, ensuring alignment with non-profit success metrics.
  • Partner closely with creative, media, and analytics teams to translate client objectives into integrated marketing plans and actionable deliverables.
  • Present performance reports, campaign results, and strategic recommendations to senior client stakeholders and agency leadership.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in a marketing, advertising or media agency, with a significant portion dedicated to client-facing account management.
  • Experience working directly with non-profit organizations or cause-related accounts, understanding the unique donor journey and fundraising landscape required.
  • Deep and demonstrable expertise across digital marketing, including strategy, execution, and measurement of paid social media and display content.
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage account teams and confidently communicate complex marketing concepts and strategy to clients and internal partners.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to turn data into clear, actionable client recommendations.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or similar required.
