Clutch is looking for an experienced Senior Strategist, Social Media & Innovation for a client of ours. We are seeking an intuitively insightful and forward-thinking leader to drive brand longevity through cutting-edge strategy, digital innovation, and AI integration. The ideal candidate lives at the intersection of data, technology, and culture, and is comfortable navigating ambiguity with conviction and authority.
Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Lead brand planning and development for a diverse portfolio of consumer brands, proposing marketing recommendations that blend consumer insights with emerging cultural trends.

Social-First Strategy: Skillfully apply social-first methodologies to solve complex client challenges and manage end-to-end social media strategies for both clients and the agency brand.

Innovation & AI Integration: Act as a connector between creative, data, and technology teams to operationalize AI. Identify high-impact AI use cases that provide measurable business value and tangible results.

Insight Generation: Guide the agency through qualitative and quantitative research (social listening, market research, and competitive analysis) to unlock unexpected insights that drive impactful campaigns.

Creative Briefing: Craft powerful, inspiring creative briefs and develop foundational brand platforms, including positioning, purpose statements, and voice/tone guidelines.

Client Consultancy: Partner directly with clients and C-suite teams to discuss brand health and untapped opportunities; design and lead consultative workshops and visioning exercises.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with PR, Influencer, and Paid Media teams to ensure social efforts are seamlessly integrated into broader multi-channel campaigns.

New Business Support: Represent the Brand Strategy department in pitches, RFP responses, and the development of project scopes.
Qualifications:

Experience: 5–7 years of advertising or brand planning experience within an agency environment is required.

Mentorship: At least 1 year of experience mentoring or managing junior-level strategists/planners.

AI Expertise: A fundamental understanding of AI models—how they function and operate—with a track record of experimenting with new technologies and automation tools.

Social Fluency: Deep knowledge of best practices across all major platforms (Meta, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, etc.) and a keen eye for emerging or niche digital channels.

Technical & Business Acumen: Ability to align AI and emerging technology solutions with measurable organizational goals and business processes.

Research Skills: Proficiency in using social listening and performance metrics to extract actionable insights and inform content plans.

Communication: A commanding presence with the ability to "work a room," facilitate high-level workshops, and sell-in strategies across matrixed organizations.
