Clutch is looking for an experienced Communications Manager for a client of ours. We are seeking a strategic storyteller to architect and advance the corporate narrative for a global leader at the intersection of digital infrastructure and energy. In an era where AI and energy demands are reshaping the economy, this individual will serve as a vital translator—converting intricate technical and financial topics into persuasive, high-impact stories that resonate with media, investors, and industry partners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Narrative Strategy: Own and polish the corporate story across earned, owned, and internal channels to ensure a unified and authoritative brand voice.
  • Executive Thought Leadership: Partner directly with senior leadership to develop sophisticated content that influences global conversations in the tech and energy sectors.
  • Content Excellence: Write and edit high-stakes communications, including press releases, media statements, and internal announcements.
  • Media Relations: Cultivate and sustain relationships with top-tier business, tech, and energy reporters, managing inquiries with sharp editorial judgment.
  • Simplifying Complexity: Distill technical market data, AI developments, and energy infrastructure shifts into clear, accessible language for diverse stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate messaging across departments to ensure organizational consistency and strategic clarity.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends and media coverage to identify windows of opportunity for the company to lead the global dialogue.


Qualifications

  • Experience: 5–7 years of professional experience in communications, journalism, or media relations.
  • Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of digital infrastructure, energy markets, artificial intelligence, or the financial sector.
  • Editorial Prowess: Exceptional writing skills with a proven ability to turn "wonky" technical details into compelling prose.
  • Media Savvy: A track record of securing high-level business and trade coverage; an intimate understanding of newsroom dynamics is essential.
  • Executive Presence: Proven experience advising C-suite leaders and developing content that reflects their unique voices.
  • Background: A degree or professional background in journalism (particularly at a business or industry-specific publication) is highly valued.
  • Strategic Judgment: High level of discretion and the ability to navigate fast-paced, high-stakes environments with sound logic.
