Rate: $25-30/hr DOE (w2)

Clutch has a client looking for a Social Media Manager with advertising or marketing agency experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy & Execution: Lead the day-to-day management of all social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X), creating content planning, scheduling, posting, and monitoring.
  • Content Calendar Development: Craft and maintain a monthly social content calendar that aligns with campaign objectives and embodies the brand's voice.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with creative, strategy, and paid media teams to ensure seamless integration of social assets, optimizing for performance and adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Trends & Engagement: Proactively identify and capitalize on cultural moments and trending topics to maintain brand relevance and visibility.
  • Influencer & Creator Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with content creators and influencers.
  • Community Management Leadership: Oversee a team of Community Managers, ensuring consistent, on-brand engagement.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Track and report on key social performance metrics, providing actionable insights to optimize content.
  • Content Ideation & Development: Contribute to the creative development of social content.
  • Paid Social Support: Collaborate with the paid media team to support development and optimization of campaigns.
  • Creative Collaboration: Participate in creative brainstorms and team meetings.

Requirements:

  • 2-3+ years of experience in managing social media within an agency setting working across multiple brands.
  • Bachelor’s in marketing, advertising, or similar.
  • Proficiency growing and engaging communities across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X.
  • Experience with content calendar creation and scheduling tools like Later, Sprout Social, Hootsuite.
  • Experience with content creation tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and apply insights for optimization.
  • Familiarity with organic & paid social campaigns and cross-functional collaboration.
  • A passion for storytelling.
  • Candidates MUST have a relevant portfolio site to share for consideration.
