Role: Senior Director, Medical Strategy - Pharma Agency

Location: Remote (MUST be located in the U.S., w2 only!)

Rate: $60-80/hr (w2) DOE

Our client is seeking a Senior Director, Medical Strategy with pharmaceutical advertising or marketing agency experience for a client of ours. Candidates should possess an advanced degree for consideration.

Responsibilities:

• Lead medical strategy and scientific direction across brands.
• Translate clinical data into clear strategic recommendations for pharmaceutical agency clients.
• Partner with teams to develop impactful HCP and Patient-focused communications.
• Serve as an expert advisor to clients and internal teams, translating technical information.
• Review medical accuracy and regulatory compliance of agency work.
• Lead and mentor medical writers and other strategic team members.
• Stay up to date on therapeutic areas, innovation, and industry trends in the market.

Requirements:

• Advanced medical degree preferred (PharmD, MD, PhD, MS, or similar).
• 7+ years of relevant experience within pharmaceutical advertising, medical communications and agency environments.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical marketing and HCP & Patient communications.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Ability to lead strategically, providing expertise, and collaborating with creative and cross-functional agency teams.
