We are seeking an experienced Freelance/Contract Presentation Designer with a strong background in financial services to provide ongoing, project-based support. This role requires a designer who excels at turning dense data and complex strategic narratives into clear, compelling, and compliant presentations for both internal and client-facing audiences.

This is an as-needed, remote contract position ideal for a detail-oriented professional who understands the high standards and regulatory constraints of the finance industry.

PreseKey Responsibilities

The Presentation Designer will be responsible for the full design lifecycle of high-stakes presentations, including:

• Template Design & Development: Creating and standardizing master templates (in PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Keynote) that are user-friendly, on-brand, and compliant for use by various teams.
• Data Visualization: Transforming complex financial charts, graphs, and tables into clear, compelling, and accurate visual stories for pitch books, quarterly reviews, and investment reports.
• Strategic Storytelling: Collaborating with executive, sales, and product teams to translate core messaging into a structured, persuasive, and visually engaging presentation narrative.
• Slide Production: Taking raw content (text, data, and charts) and designing polished, pixel-perfect slides, ensuring consistency in typography, color, and layout across the entire deck.
• Compliance: Ensuring all presentation visuals and layouts adhere strictly to internal brand guidelines and financial industry regulations (FINRA, SEC, etc.).
• Asset Management: Preparing and incorporating necessary visual assets (icons, photography, diagrams) while managing and optimizing file sizes for easy sharing and distribution.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional presentation design experience, with a significant focus on the financial services, banking, or asset management industry.
• An exceptional portfolio dedicated primarily to presentation work, showcasing expertise in data visualization and complex information design.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and/or Google Slides for custom template creation, design execution, and troubleshooting.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for creating and editing supporting graphic elements.
• Proven ability to work within strict corporate branding and regulatory compliance guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage simultaneous presentation projects under tight deadlines.
• Access to your own professional-grade software and hardware setup.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with animation or interactive elements within presentations.
• Familiarity with presentation management systems or libraries.
• Experience designing for virtual/webinar presentations.
