Title: Medical Director

Location: Remote (must be located in the US)

Rate: Negotiable

Duration: on-going assignment - indefinitely may be 5 hours of work 1 week and 30 another

Overview:

We are seeking a strong, strategically minded Medical Director to join our client's team. Looking for a new partner who can bring both deep scientific understanding and confident, client-facing professionalism.

The Right Fit:

This isn’t a “yes person” role — they need someone who can stand toe-to-toe with pharma medical staff, challenge thinking respectfully, and hold their own in complex, scientific discussions. The right candidate will be collaborative yet assertive, confident, and comfortable translating medical and clinical data into clear, actionable strategy.

• Able to think on their feet and adapt in real time during client discussions
• Buttoned-up and polished communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Experienced working across HCP and Rare therapeutic areas
• Strong presentation and client engagement skills
• Flexible schedule and able to accommodate client demands as needed

Must Have:

• Advanced degree required (MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent)
• Prior agency experience in pharma/healthcare communications
• Demonstrated ability to engage with medical and marketing teams at a high level
• Solid understanding of scientific data and regulatory context
