Our client is seeking a unique hybrid talent to bridge the gap between business development and live production. In this role, you will embed directly with the Business Development team during the sales function, serving as the technical production authority, lead estimator, and feasibility expert. The ideal candidate has deep, hands-on production experience but thrives in a strategic, fast-paced pre-sale and pitching environment.
Responsibilities:
- Budget Architecture: Write highly detailed, accurate, and line-itemed production budgets for incoming client briefs and new business proposals.
- Feasibility Assessment: Evaluate creative concepts and client asks during the pitch phase to determine operational feasibility, resource needs, and potential logistical risks.
- BD Strategy Integration: Act as the primary production resource for the sales and business development teams, ensuring all pitched concepts are realistic and financially viable.
- Resource Mapping: Identify, scope, and forecast the necessary production personnel, vendors, and timeline structures required to execute proposed scopes of work.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with both the internal pitch teams and executive stakeholders to align creative ambitions with strict financial parameters.
Qualifications:
- Production Veteran: Strong, foundational background in physical, experiential, or agency production, with enough hands-on experience to deeply understand the true cost of execution.
- Master of Numbers: Proven track record of scoping and building complex, granular budgets for diverse project types.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to look at a loose creative brief or abstract concept and immediately translate it into a concrete, executable framework.
- Sales-Minded Agility: Comfortable operating in a fast-paced business development environment with shifting deadlines and evolving client parameters.
- Strong Communicator: Exceptional ability to articulate production constraints and budget logic clearly to both internal sales teams and external clients.
