Clutch is looking for an experienced Head of Content/Creative Copy Director for a client of ours.
Responsibilities:
- Own the entire content and creative process from the ground up, including brand strategy, creative concepting, content strategy, hands-on content creation and copywriting, etc.
- Develop and execute compelling brand-focused content strategies that resonate with target audiences and drive business objectives.
- Lead the creative direction and copywriting for a diverse range of projects, ensuring brand voice consistency and high-quality execution.
- Act as a primary client-facing leader, building strong relationships, presenting ideas, and effectively translating client needs into strategic and creative solutions.
- Hands-on content creation and copywriting will constitute approximately 60% of this role, producing impactful and engaging materials across various platforms.
- Oversee and mentor a team of writers, providing constructive feedback, guidance, and ensuring the development of their skills (approximately 40% of this role).
- Work directly with the Creative Director and Art team to ensure cohesive and impactful creative outputs.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and sales, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in content and creative to continually elevate the brand's presence.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior content or creative leadership role, such as Head of Content, Creative Director, or Creative Copy Director.
- Demonstrated expertise in brand strategy development and building brands from inception.
- Extensive portfolio showcasing exceptional creative concepting, content strategy, and copywriting skills across diverse mediums.
- Significant client-facing experience, with a track record of successfully managing relationships and presenting strategic and creative work.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing, mentoring, and developing a team of writers.
- Experience collaborating directly with Creative Directors and Art teams.
- A deep understanding of content performance metrics and the ability to optimize strategies based on data.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
