Clutch is looking for an experienced VP, Client Services for a client of ours.
As a vital member of the Senior Leadership Team, the VP of Client Services reports directly to the Agency President. This role is designed for a strategic powerhouse focused on the long-term health, profitability, and expansion of our client portfolio. You will move beyond the tactical day-to-day to focus on executive-level governance, high-level relationship cultivation, and the mentorship of our account leadership team.
Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence: Strengthen the adoption of agency systems and processes to ensure consistent, high-quality execution across all client priorities.

Revenue Management: Take full accountability for client retention and organic growth, identifying new business opportunities within existing partnerships through our unique value proposition.

Strategic Mentorship: Build and lead a high-performing team of account supervisors; provide the training and guidance necessary to transition daily account ownership while maintaining ultimate accountability.

Executive Partnership: Serve as a consultative advisor to senior-level client stakeholders, maintaining a deep understanding of their business dynamics and growth drivers.

Financial Stewardship: Collaborate with Finance to ensure disciplined pricing, accurate monthly fee forecasting, and optimal salary-to-fee income ratios.

Strategic Planning: Lead the annual marketing planning process for key accounts and proactively pitch programs that drive measurable business success.

Cross-Functional Integration: Champion a unified approach across Creative, Media, Performance, and Technology departments to ensure all work meets agency standards of "Clarity."

Onboarding & Roadmap Development: Partner with Brand Integration leaders to define what long-term success looks like for new clients, creating 12–36 month strategic roadmaps.
Qualifications:

Agency Leadership: 15+ years of progressive agency experience, with a proven track record in senior-level management.

Portfolio Growth: Demonstrated success in driving client retention and increasing account profitability through organic expansion.

Industry Experience: Prior Experience working with verticals such as Food & Beverage, Tourism, and Hospitality.

Financial Literacy: Strong command of agency financial models, pricing strategies, and resource allocation.

Team Development: Experience leading complex, multi-disciplinary teams and mentoring senior managers into leadership roles.

Expert Communication: Ability to engage in candid, high-level strategic debates and influence outcomes at the executive level.

Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree (MBA or related) preferred.
