Clutch is looking for an experienced Freelance Editor for a client of ours.

The ideal candidate is a sharp, detail-oriented wordsmith who thrives in high-volume, fast-paced environments. In this role, you will be responsible for refining and humanizing AI-generated product description pages (PDPs) to ensure they meet strict brand voice and quality standards. If you have a meticulous attention to detail and experience in the e-commerce space, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Content Refinement: Review and edit high volumes of AI-generated content for Product Description Pages (PDPs), specifically the "About this Product" sections.
• Brand Alignment: Ensure all copy adheres strictly to established brand voice and style guides.
• Quality Control: Maintain rigorous standards for grammar, syntax, and accuracy across hundreds of product listings daily, ranging from consumables to hard goods.
• Efficiency: Navigate a fast-paced workflow while maintaining high-quality output and meeting daily volume targets.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team to ensure consistency across all digital platforms.

Qualifications:

• E-Commerce Experience: Proven track record working within an e-commerce environment is highly preferred.
• Editorial Excellence: Exceptional editing and proofreading skills with a relentless focus on precision and accuracy.
• AI Savvy: Comfortable reviewing and improving content initially generated by AI tools.
• Adaptability: Ability to handle fluctuating workloads; while many weeks will require 40 hours, you must be flexible during lighter periods.
• Volume Management: Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume workloads without sacrificing quality.
• Availability: Must be able to start within the next two weeks.
