Account Director - Public Relations/Integrated

Clutch is looking for an experienced Account Director for a client of ours. This is an ideal role for a consumer generalist who thrives in an integrated environment and possesses a deep background in PR and cross-channel marketing.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage high-level consumer accounts, serving as the primary strategic partner for clients.
• Oversee the development and execution of integrated communications campaigns, ensuring PR efforts are seamlessly aligned with broader marketing goals.
• Drive creative storytelling and media relations strategies across lifestyle, beauty, wellness, and food/bev sectors.
• Manage account profitability, budget allocation, and team resourcing to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Identify opportunities for organic growth within existing accounts and contribute to new business pitches.

Qualifications:

• 8–10 years of experience in PR and integrated marketing agencies.
• Consumer Generalist Expertise: Proven track record managing diverse consumer brands.
• Category Experience: Strong exposure to the lifestyle, beauty, wellness, and food/beverage industries is highly preferred.
• Integrated Mindset: Experience working across PR, social, digital, and traditional marketing channels.
• Leadership: Exceptional team management skills and the ability to navigate complex client relationships.
• Communication: Brilliant written and verbal communication skills with a knack for persuasive storytelling.
