Clutch is looking for an Art Supervisor with pharmaceutical advertising or marketing agency experience for a client of ours.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the creative lead for the visual evolution and execution of pharmaceutical brands, specializing in complex therapeutic areas.
- Translate clinical data and mechanisms of action into compelling, digestible visual narratives.
- Oversee the end-to-end creative development of multichannel campaigns.
- Collaborate closely with Copy Supervisors to ensure visual concepts are medically accurate and align with the core scientific platform.
- Present creative work confidently to senior-level clients, articulating the strategic rationale behind visual directions.
- Direct and mentor junior art directors and designers, providing clear feedback to maintain a high standard of craft and conceptual thinking across the team.
- Partner with production and digital teams to ensure all creative output is optimized for its specific channel while remaining within the technical constraints of the pharma space.
- Navigate the MLR review process, proactively designing visual solutions that meet strict compliance standards without sacrificing aesthetic impact.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in an art direction role within a pharmaceutical advertising agency.
- Proven portfolio demonstrating success in HCP and/or DTC pharmaceuticals.
- Demonstrated expertise in multichannel campaign development and execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, or a related creative field.
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and experience with Figma!
- Strong familiarity with the timelines and approval processes unique to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Collaborative spirit with the ability to lead multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- MUST have a strong portfolio of relevant pharmaceutical samples to share for consideration!
