Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all financial operations, including month-end close, reporting, and audit processes
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting and internal controls
- Develop, implement, and improve financial policies, procedures, and processes
- Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations that support business decisions
- Manage relationships with external auditors and support all audit activities
- Oversee treasury functions, including banking relationships and liquidity management
- Analyze financial performance and identify opportunities for operational and financial improvement
- Support strategic initiatives, including potential M&A activities and organizational structuring
- Mentor and develop finance team members while fostering a collaborative environment
Must-Have Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience managing month-end close, audits, and financial controls
- Familiarity with ERP systems and financial systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to communicate financial insights clearly to leadership
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Nice-to-Have / Preferred
- CPA certification
- Experience in manufacturing or regulated environments (medical device, pharma, etc.)
- Exposure to cost accounting or operational finance
