📍 Location: Multiple U.S. locations (Hybrid/Onsite depending on location)
💰 Compensation: $80,000 – $110,000 base salary, depending on experience
✈ Travel: Occasional travel within the Northeastern U.S. may be required

A rapidly growing technology services organization is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join its engineering team. This role will play a critical part in designing and delivering modern cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions for a diverse client base. Reporting Structure
This role reports into the Engineering leadership team and works closely with network engineers, cloud engineers, and operations teams across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, test, and deploy cloud and hybrid network solutions
- Build and support Azure infrastructure, including Azure VMs, VPNs, and identity services
- Implement and manage Identity Management, MFA, and role-based access control (RBAC)
- Integrate on-premise networks with cloud environments
- Troubleshoot networking issues including routing, QoS, and performance challenges
- Configure and support core technologies including Entra ID, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
- Resolve escalated technical issues from internal support teams
- Deliver technical documentation, diagrams, and configuration procedures
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering peers
- Perform network assessments and consulting engagements
- Support on-site troubleshooting and implementation when required
Must-Have Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field OR equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in networking, cloud engineering, or infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure / Entra ID
- Experience supporting Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and enterprise networking environments
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, and routing
- Experience implementing MFA, SSO, and identity management technologies
- Ability to build and support hybrid cloud environments
Required Certifications:
Nice-to-Have / Preferred
- Microsoft certifications (AZ-104, AZ-700, MCSE)
- Checkpoint CCSA
- Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNE, CCDA)
- Palo Alto certifications (PCNSA required, PSNSE preferred)
- Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms
- Experience with PowerShell automation
- Familiarity with Linux environments
