Sr. IT Sourcing Manager


Performance Objectives

  • Lead the end-to-end IT sourcing strategy, leveraging market insights to add value and innovate operations across our expansive network.
  • Implement cost-effectiveness initiatives, achieving at least a 15% reduction in annual IT spend without compromising service quality.
  • Foster critical vendor partnerships to enhance collaboration and ensure alignment with Smithfield's values and objectives.
  • Architect scalable, robust procurement frameworks that align technology acquisitions with strategic business goals.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement efforts to ensure seamless integration of IT resources and business processes.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments, identifying strategic opportunities that support sustainable growth and innovation.

Environment & Resources

  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of procurement specialists and executive stakeholders.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art sourcing technologies and industry-leading market research tools.
  • Manage and oversee a substantial operational budget, directly reporting to the VP of Procurement.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, IT, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of proven experience in IT sourcing with a focus on large-scale, multi-vendor environments.
  • Demonstrated success in vendor management and strategic procurement in food production or related industries.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, with a record of driving significant cost-saving solutions.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach to process improvements.
