The Maintenance Laborer provides essential hands-on support to keep the facility safe, clean, and fully operational. This role focuses on routine preventative maintenance, general building upkeep, and assisting the Maintenance Worker with complex mechanical, HVAC, and boiler repairs.
Key Responsibilities

Assisted Repairs: Assist the Maintenance Worker with troubleshooting and repairing HVAC components, modern boilers, and electrical/plumbing systems.

Routine Maintenance: Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks such as changing air filters, replacing light bulbs, greasing bearings, and monitoring fluid levels.

General Upkeep: Handle basic carpentry, painting, drywall patching, and minor plumbing clearings.

Grounds & Safety: Assist with facility cleanliness, basic groundskeeping, and ensuring emergency exits and walkways are clear.

Tool Management: Maintain, clean, and organize tools, equipment, and maintenance workshops.
Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 0–2 years of experience in general maintenance, construction, or a related trade.

Technical Aptitude: Willingness to learn how to operate basic hand/power tools and safely work around mechanical systems.

Computer Literacy: Basic computer skills to log daily tasks, view work orders, and learn the fundamentals of building monitoring software.

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather or confined conditions.
Hours are 6am to 3pm est
