Position Summary


The Information Technology (IT) Systems Manager plays a critical role in ensuring Company’s technology backbone is robust, secure, and optimized to support our mission of providing access to quality, affordable medication so 300 million people live healthier, happier lives. This role is entrusted with overseeing complex systems integrations, managing enterprise applications, and ensuring seamless technology operations across a fast-paced, high-growth pharmaceutical environment. By driving innovation and leveraging technology solutions, this position ensures the company remains agile, efficient, and ready to scale in service of our patients and partners.


Duties And Responsibilities


  •  Oversees the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise-level IT systems to ensure peak performance and reliability.
  •  Manages system integrations, upgrades, and migrations with minimal disruption to operations while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  •  Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and deliver solutions that improve productivity, efficiency, and security.
  •  Implements advanced monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning processes to proactively prevent and resolve issues.
  •  Partners with security teams to ensure all systems meet compliance requirements for the pharmaceutical industry, including data integrity and confidentiality standards.
  •  Evaluates and deploys AI-powered tools and solutions to enhance system efficiency, streamline workflows, and support informed decision-making.
  •  Prepares and maintains comprehensive technical documentation, including system configurations, standard operating procedures, and disaster recovery plans.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.


Knowledge And Skills


  •  Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects independently and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  •  Excellent proficiency in enterprise systems administration, system integrations, performance optimization, and AI-enabled tools, with advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant IT management platforms.

 Experience and Qualifications


  •  Minimum of 7 years of experience managing enterprise IT systems, infrastructure, and applications in highly regulated environments, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors.
  •  Requires a Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  •  Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104); IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation; CompTIA Security+; VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
