The Financial Planning & Analyst, Technology & Infrastructure, plays a critical role in supporting the finance team's strategic and operational decision-making, which would result in overall optimization of revenue and cost for the organization. This is a high-impact role for someone who takes ownership, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and turns complex data into clear stories. 


Core Functions

  • Assist in annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning using tools
  • Build and maintain financial models for scenario analysis, cost tracking, and revenue forecasting
  • Deliver monthly variance reports and KPI analysis with clear, actionable narratives for non-finance stakeholders
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on business cases, investment decisions, and cost optimization opportunities
  • Incorporate technology and infrastructure cost trends into forecast assumptions and track realized savings


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
  • 3-5 years of FP&A experience with ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
  • Prior background in SaaS, B2B, Manufacturing/Semi-Manufacturing business models preferred
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statement mechanics (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow), and core accounting concepts, including accruals, capitalization vs. expensing, and cost allocation
  • Familiarity with month-end close processes and the ability to self-validate model outputs against GL data
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with creating reporting within BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems (NetSuite, Epicor, SAP, or similar)
  • Clear communicator who can simplify financial data for non-finance audiences
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a lean, agile environment
  • Ability to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization
  • Technology enthusiast demonstrated through work experience, hobbies, and/or education
  • Agile Mindset – the ability to work in an iterative manner that allows for rapid prototyping, effective feedback loops, and the ability to meet aggressive timelines

Hybrid Model: Tuesday-Thursday in our Bolingbrook, IL office; Mon/Fri remote

 

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This position does not offer employer-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. This role requires the ability to begin work within approximately 1–2 weeks of offer acceptance and to be available for regular in-office collaboration. This position's anticipated base salary range is $75,000 to 94,000. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and location. Hybrid: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are in-office days at our corporate office in Bolingbrook, IL.
