TITLE: Digital Marketing & Social Media Intern
HOURS: 15–20 hours/week
PAY: $17.87/hour
About AMP Beauty
AMP Beauty is redefining the beauty industry by supporting emerging brands, championing clean and inclusive products, and leveraging technology to modernize commerce. As a fast-growing startup, we value creativity, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing & Social Media Intern to support both our lifecycle marketing (email & SMS) and social media content efforts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of creativity, culture, and analytics.
What You’ll Do
Email & SMS Marketing
- Assist in designing and scheduling email newsletters using platforms like Klaviyo or Mailchimp
- Support SMS campaign execution and calendar management
- Help segment and maintain email/SMS lists for targeted campaigns
- Monitor campaign performance (open rates, CTR, conversions)
- Assist with A/B testing for subject lines, messaging, and visuals
- Provide insights to improve campaign performance
Social Media & Content Creation
- Create short-form video and photo content for TikTok and Instagram
- Stay ahead of trends and turn cultural moments into engaging content
- Write on-brand captions and social copy
- Shoot, edit, and produce social-first content (CapCut, InShot, Adobe Suite, etc.)
- Maintain and manage the content calendar
- Engage with the community through DMs and comments
- Support influencer outreach and brand ambassador communication
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing and creative teams
- Ensure cohesive brand voice across email, SMS, and social channels
- Contribute ideas to support emerging beauty brands and campaigns
Who You Are
- Passionate about beauty, culture, and emerging brands
- Fluent in TikTok trends and Gen Z digital culture
- Comfortable analyzing performance metrics and drawing insights
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Skilled in Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, or similar tools
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms is a plus
- Able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

LA County Subsidy Eligible Position Information
Subsidy roles require students to have an LA County based address, and be between the ages of 18-24 years old. Once you are placed in a subsidy eligible position you will be required to present the following documents to processed in a Youth Center (AJCC):
- Identification (School or State ID).
- Social Security Card (Please ensure that it is signed).
- Birth Certificate.
- Proof of Los Angeles County Residency, including a postmarked date (Report Card, Transcripts, or any mail that is under the applicant’s name).
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination OR valid medical/religious exemption.
- The Youth Center (AJCC) will be paying you for 160 completed hours.
- You will be required to submit timesheets to your youth center (AJCC) to be paid for your time worked.
NOTE: IF YOU WERE ALREADY PLACED IN A SUBSIDY ELIGIBLE POSITION, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO QUALIFY FOR ANOTHER SUBSIDY ELIGIBLE POSITION UNTIL JULY 1ST.
