ROLE OVERVIEW 

As we scale globally, we are seeking an AI Specialist Intern to help us intelligently leverage artificial intelligence to streamline operations, elevate marketing, and support creative growth. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who understands both creative brands and practical automation. You will work closely with the founder and key team members to design AI-powered systems across marketing, ecommerce, content creation, customer engagement, and internal operations. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Evaluate and recommend AI tools to support KENDI AMANI’s growth. 
• Design and implement AI workflows that save time, reduce costs, and increase output.
• Customize AI tools to align with KENDI AMANI’s brand voice, values, and visual identity.
• Build AI systems for email marketing, social media captions & scheduling, product descriptions, SEO optimization, and ad campaign ideation.
• Implement AI tools for customer service/chatbots and product recommendations.
• Support inventory forecasting and demand planning where applicable.
• Improve website conversion through AI-driven insights and personalization.
• Create AI agents or automations for admin tasks, reporting, analytics, documentation, and SOP creation.
• Train internal team members on effective use of AI tools. 
• Stay current on emerging AI tools and best practices. 
• Continuously test, refine, and improve existing AI workflows.

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS 

• Experience with Canva and Shopify. 
• Proven experience implementing AI tools in a business setting. 
• Strong knowledge of ChatGPT/GPT systems, Midjourney or DALL·E, Zapier, Make, or similar platforms. 
• Ability to translate business needs into AI-driven solutions. 
• Proficient in AI-powered video editing and social media content creation. • Strong storytelling, communication, and organizational skills. 

NICE TO HAVE 

• Experience with fashion, lifestyle, or creative brands. 
• Ecommerce experience (Shopify preferred). 
• Experience building custom AI agents or workflows. 
• Interest in African craftsmanship, ethical fashion, or women-led enterprises.
