ESTE Leverage is a mission-driven EdTech company creating AI-powered tools that guide learners of all ages toward meaningful, future-ready careers. We combine interactive machine learning, psychometrics, and experiential design to transform how people discover their potential. We’re looking for LA-based students interested in gaining hands-on experience in sales, marketing, data analysis, user research, community development, and operations within a fast-paced startup dedicated to expanding career opportunities for everyone.

We are looking for a curious, motivated Generalist Intern who takes initiative, follows through, and is excited to contribute across multiple areas of a growing EdTech startup. This role is designed for someone who loves learning, enjoys solving problems, and wants hands-on experience working in a mission-driven, early-stage technology environment.

Generalist Intern

As a multi-department intern, you will support several areas of the organization and assist with a variety of projects that reflect the needs of an early-stage EdTech company. Your tasks may include conducting market or user research, researching and maintaining partnership or business opportunities, organizing information for product development, preparing presentations, monitoring digital platforms, and assisting with outreach or communication efforts as needed.

You will receive guidance from the CEO and team members while also working independently when appropriate. Strong candidates are clear communicators with solid multitasking and organizational abilities. You are known to follow through. You should be curious, adaptable, and willing to learn. Experience with marketing techniques, social media platforms, design tools, or research methods is helpful, but not required. Most importantly, you should understand the value of contributing to a high-performing startup team, building positive working relationships, and building your professional network.

What will you do:

  • Perform market analysis and research on the latest trends.
  • Monitor all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback.
  • Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content.
  • Contribute to the creation of mock-ups, email campaigns, and social media content.
  • Gather information through surveys or by speaking to clients and staff.
  • Attending and participating in meetings, workshops, events, and exhibitions.
  • Reviewing sales performance against sales targets.
  • Identifying potential weaknesses and offering improvement suggestions.
  • Keeping a log of everything learned and delivering presentations to staff and other stakeholders.

What should you have:

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate course for education, psychology, marketing, business, data analytics, or related.
  • Familiarity with marketing computer software, prompt engineering and social media platforms.
  • Good understanding of the latest sales trends and techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm in fast-paced environments.
  • Outstanding multitasking abilities and the unique ability to follow through without being reminded.

Why Join ESTE?

  • You will be working directly with a CEO who will tailor the experience to your strengths.
  • You will gain exposure to emerging fields in AI, workforce development, and EdTech innovation.
  • You will help build early components of a real product that will impact young learners nationally.
  • You will be celebrated for your creativity, curiosity, and potential—not your prior experience.
  • You will be a beneficiary to ESTE’s mission and related products
  • You will leave with a clearer sense of your interests and a portfolio of tangible contributions you’ll repeat at your next job
