Bundul is a Los Angeles–based FinTech app that helps users simplify their finances by consolidating subscriptions and bills into one monthly payment. We also create engaging social and in-app content focused on entertainment and personal finance education.

About the Role

Bundul is looking for a Social Media Specialist Intern who is chronically online, obsessed with pop culture, and eager to make personal finance feel effortless. In this role, you will help us turn subscription fatigue—scattered due dates, surprise charges, and bank statement clutter—into

high-converting, relatable social content. You will directly bridge the gap between what people watch on TV and how they intentionally manage their money.

Key Responsibilities

• Creative Content Execution: Concept, write, and produce short-form video (Reels/TikToks) and visual assets (Instagram carousels) highlighting Bundul’s core features, such as consolidated billing, custom start dates, and 15-day Split-Pay.
• Content Hub Integration: Translate our in-app TV/movie recommendations and personal finance articles into weekly social watchlists, budget breakdowns, and entertainment commentary.
• Community & Social Proof: Drive active engagement in comment sections, participate in trending audio and meme formats, and build trust with budget-conscious streaming enthusiasts.
• Growth Analytics: Assist in reviewing weekly performance metrics (engagement rate, link clicks, app downloads) to refine visual hooks and messaging.

Qualifications

• Native Social Fluency: Deep understanding of Instagram and TikTok algorithms, trending formats, and Gen Z/Millennial digital culture.
• Sharpened Storytelling: Ability to take functional fintech topics (cash flow, billing cycles) and reframe them as witty, relatable visual narratives.
• Design & Editing Skills: Hands-on experience with video and graphic tools such as CapCut, Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Interest in FinTech & Media: Passion for consumer tech, personal budgeting, or pop culture streaming trends.

Position Details

• Location: Remote (Los Angeles–based candidates)
• Pay: $18.47/hour
• Duration: 160 hours
• Eligibility: Ages 18–24 only (LA County Subsidy Eligible)

LA County Subsidy Eligible Position Information 

Subsidy roles require students to have an LA County based address, and be between the ages of 18-24 years old. Once you are placed in a subsidy eligible position you will be required to present the following documents to processed in a Youth Center (AJCC):

• Identification (School or State ID).
• Social Security Card (Please ensure that it is signed).
• Birth Certificate.
• Proof of Los Angeles County Residency, including a postmarked date (Report Card, Transcripts, or any mail that is under the applicant’s name).
• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination OR valid medical/religious exemption.
• The Youth Center (AJCC) will be paying you for 160 completed hours.
• You will be required to submit timesheets to your youth center (AJCC) to be paid for your time worked.

NOTE: IF YOU WERE ALREADY PLACED IN A SUBSIDY ELIGIBLE POSITION, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO QUALIFY FOR ANOTHER SUBSIDY ELIGIBLE POSITION UNTIL JULY 1ST.
