Motions Graphic Design Intern


About Cinefind

Cinefind is a platform that aggregates free in-theater movie screenings in real time, ranging from

indies to major studio releases. Filmmakers can also book theater screens and use sponsored

pre-roll advertising to lower venue rental costs


Role Overview

We’re looking for a talented Motion Graphics Designer to create a cinematic media kit that brings Cinefind’s story to life. You’ll design polished animations that showcase our product’s features, user flow, and key use cases with the style and clarity of a top-tier brand campaign


You’ll collaborate closely with the founder and marketing team to develop branded motion assets that capture Cinefind’s cinematic spirit and connect with both filmmakers and film fans


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and animate product-focused motion graphics that showcase Cinefind’s platform, features, and user journey.
  • Create UI-based animations (e.g., simulated app flows, search animations, booking processes).
  • Collaborate with the founder and marketing team to translate product features into engaging visual stories
  • Ensure all motion work aligns with Cinefind’s brand identity and cinematic tone.


Qualifications

  • Proficient in After Effects, Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D, or similar motion design tools.
  • Strong understanding of composition, typography, and animation timing.
  • Ability to create clean, tech-style animations
  • Portfolio showcasing commercial or high-end motion work
  • Experience designing for social media, ads, or entertainment brands is a plus.


LA County Subsidy Eligible Position Information 


Subsidy roles require students to have an LA County based address, and be between the ages of 18-24 years old. Once you are placed in a subsidy eligible position you will be required to present the following documents to processed in a Youth Center (AJCC):


  • Identification (School or State ID).
  • Social Security Card (Please ensure that it is signed).
  • Birth Certificate.
  • Proof of Los Angeles County Residency, including a postmarked date (Report Card, Transcripts, or any mail that is under the applicant’s name).
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination OR valid medical/religious exemption.
  • The Youth Center (AJCC) will be paying you for 160 completed hours.
  • You will be required to submit timesheets to your youth center (AJCC) to be paid for your time worked.


NOTE: IF YOU WERE ALREADY PLACED IN A SUBSIDY ELIGIBLE POSITION, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO QUALIFY FOR ANOTHER SUBSIDY ELIGIBLE POSITION UNTIL JULY 1ST.
