Product Design Intern

Location: Remote / Flexible

Employment Type: Internship

Hourly Pay: $18.47

About Bundul

Bundul is reshaping how consumers manage and enjoy their subscription services. Managing

multiple renewal dates across streaming platforms and digital services can be stressful and

chaotic. Bundul solves this by consolidating all streaming subscriptions into a single,

predictable monthly bill—giving users full control to set their preferred billing start date or split

payments into two bi-weekly installments 15 days apart.

Beyond financial flexibility, Bundul serves as an all-in-one hub where users can discover

personalized TV show and movie recommendations alongside accessible personal finance

articles. We sit at the intersection of fintech and digital media, making subscription

management effortless and engaging.

Role Overview

We are seeking a thoughtful, user-focused Product Design Intern to help shape the next

evolution of the Bundul mobile app. In this role, you will work closely with our product and

engineering teams to design seamless, high-fidelity interfaces for both our core financial

management tools (payment scheduling, bill splitting, subscription tracking) and our lifestyle

content feeds (media recommendations and finance guides).

This internship offers hands-on experience taking features from concept to production, directly

impacting how users manage their money and media.

Key Responsibilities

● High-Fidelity UI & Prototyping: Craft polished, high-fidelity user interface designs,

visual assets, and interactive prototypes that accurately reflect Bundul's brand identity

and design standards.

● End-to-End Feature Design: Create wireframes, user flows, visual mockups, and

production-ready designs for new and existing mobile app features.

● Fintech & Content Interface Design: Design clear, intuitive UX/UI for complex billing

interactions (e.g., custom payment scheduling, 15-day split-payment flows) while crafting

engaging visual layouts for curated media and personal finance content.

● User Research & Usability Testing: Conduct qualitative user interviews and usability

tests to gather feedback on prototypes, iterating based on user behavior and analytics.

● Design System Maintenance: Help build, scale, and document Bundul’s mobile design

system in Figma, maintaining high-fidelity component libraries across iOS and Android platforms.

● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and software

engineers to ensure design feasibility, write clear design specifications, and participate in

seamless design handoffs.

Qualifications & Skills

● High-Fidelity Design Skills: Strong ability to create high-fidelity UI designs, UI

components, layout structures, and pixel-perfect mockups ready for developer

implementation.

● Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or program in UX/UI

Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, or a related field.

● Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating strong visual design aesthetics, high-fidelity mobile

app design samples (iOS/Android), and a clear user-centered design process.

● Tool Proficiency: Mastery of Figma for high-fidelity UI design, including auto-layout,

interactive components, variants, and design systems.

● Problem-Solving: Ability to take complex financial concepts (payment split logic, billing

cycle customization) and simplify them into clean, stress-free user interactions.

● Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate design

rationale and present high-fidelity work to stakeholders.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

● Knowledge of or interest in the streaming entertainment industry, subscription

management, or consumer fintech.

● Experience with micro-interactions, high-fidelity motion design, or tools like Lottie/Rive.

● Basic understanding of mobile design guidelines (Apple Human Interface Guidelines and

Google Material Design).

What You’ll Gain

● Real-World Impact: Your high-fidelity designs will be shipped directly to active mobile

users.

● Mentorship: Regular 1-on-1 feedback, design critiques, and career guidance from senior

product leaders.

● Cross-Disciplinary Exposure: Insight into how fintech logistics, media curation, and

product strategy intersect in a fast-paced environment.

● Flexible Work Culture: Remote-first work structure with flexible hours.
