Creative Production & Operations Intern

Travel: In-person required in Venice Beach. Local travel may be required.

Pay: $17.87/hr

About Strut

Strut Motors builds electric Light Utility Vehicles (LUVs) — right-sized, modular,

autonomy-ready vehicles optimized for daily local trips under 10 miles.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a motivated, trustworthy, and hands-on intern to join our team

supporting creative production and day-to-day operations. This position is ideal

for someone who’s passionate about cars, storytelling, and startup culture — and

eager to help build a brand from the ground floor.

You’ll have the opportunity to work directly with the founding team, contributing

across content creation, social media, and operational tasks that bring our

vehicles and brand to life.

Responsibilities

• Assist in filming video content for social media, marketing, and product projects.
• Support production tasks, including setup, teardown, and general logistics.
• Run errands related to shoots, shop organization, and daily operations.
• Help maintain a smooth workflow during filming days and team activities.
• Contribute to copywriting, social media, and brand storytelling initiatives.
• Participate in creative brainstorms and assist with day-to-day startup tasks.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Interest in automotive work, design, or technology (hands-on or technical).
• Experience with video production, cameras, or editing software (Premiere, Final Cut, etc.).
• Strong writing and communication skills — copywriting or social media experience a plus.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.
• Creative mindset with a flexible, can-do attitude.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to work in person in Venice Beach.
